You didn’t forget our anniversary, did you?
Happy anniversary! The Apex Legends 5th Anniversary Collection Event is dropping alongside the release of Season 20 and it’s chock full of brand new skins, community made rewards, a new LTM and Heirloom Shards. The event starts on February 13, 2024, the first day of Season 20, and ends on February 27, 2024.
New Legendary skins and unlockable Heirloom Shards
The 5th Anniversary Collection Event will have 24 new cosmetics. These range from new skins, recolors, banner frames, stickers, and holosprays. Once all of these have been unlocked, players will automatically receive 150 Heirloom Shards to pick whichever Heirloom or Prestige Skin they want.

Valkyrie, Fuse, Pathfinder, Octane, Mirage, Wraith, Seer, Catalyst, Bangalore, Crypto, Loba, and Wattson will all receive skins in this collection event. However, while only some are labeled Legendary, most honestly look fantastic.
New LTM: Straight Shot
Respawn saw the massive popularity of Three Strikes and decided to follow that thread. Straight Shot is the newest LTM coming to Apex Legends. The game mode will focus on getting players right into the action of a match. No more with all that pesky landing and looting.

Straight Shot speeds up the classic Apex Legends BR match. Players will spawn directly into a random POI with another team so the fighting can start immediately. Fully kitted weapons will spawn on the ground and the zone will close faster than normal. Additionally, players can jump immediately into another match once they die. That way players can try again without having to go back and wait in the lobby.
As with all anniversary events in the past, the 5th Anniversary Collection Event will have a free event tracker with rewards designed by community artists.
This year’s tracker includes a skin for Ballistic and Bloodhound, gun skins for the Prowler and the R-99. There are also banner frames and an adorable loading screen featuring Wattson and Crypto. Additionally, there are some Nessie themed tracking banners!
